Sylvia Banda is a Senior Investment Director for the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Sylvia joined the firm in 2019 and has spent her entire career in the investment management industry. In her role, she works with endowments and foundations on portfolio construction, asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and investment program evaluation. She is also sought for her expertise in sustainable and impact investing.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Sylvia was an Associate Portfolio Manager at Dimensional Fund Advisors based in Austin, Texas, where she managed Emerging Market equity portfolios. There, she led portfolio activities including security selection, management of FX, and election on corporate actions. Prior to her time at Dimensional, she was a member of the consulting team at NEPC in Boston, where she worked with institutional clients on all matters related to investment implementation. Sylvia has also worked with ultra high-net-worth individuals and endowments and foundations on asset allocation and manager selection as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan. She started her career at Goldman Sachs in New York City.
Sylvia received both her MBA, cum laude, and her BA from University of Notre Dame.
