Scott Palmer is a Senior Investment Director for the Private Client Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Scott joined Cambridge Associates in 2018 and has more than 8 years of investment experience. Scott is responsible for crafting investment portfolios for families and institutions, and he works closely with clients on asset allocation strategy, manager selection, risk management, and investment program implementation. Scott has co-authored two whitepapers entitled, Portfolio Construction: A Blueprint for Private Families and No Surprises: Managing Risk in Family Portfolios.
Outside of Cambridge Associates, Scott serves on the board of Educational Opportunities, a Dallas-based non-profit organization that provides scholarships and mentoring to college-bound students.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Scott was an Investment Advisor at Texas Capital Bank, where he managed portfolios and provided holistic investment management services for high-net-worth families. Prior to that, he was a hedge fund analyst at Robertson Opportunity Capital Partners.
Scott received his BA from Middlebury College and his MBA from Southern Methodist University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
