Melanie Mandonas is a Managing Director for the Pension Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Melanie oversees investment portfolios for pensions, private clients, foundations, and endowments ranging in size from $100 million to over $20 billion. She advises her clients on asset allocation and manager selection. Melanie specializes in building hedge fund allocations and sourcing, underwriting, and actively monitoring hedge fund investments globally, with extensive travel throughout developed and emerging markets.
In addition to her client responsibilities, Melanie is a voting member of the Hedge Fund Research and Advisory Committee, which is a group of senior investors responsible for vetting managers. She is also a frequent contributor to the firm’s thought leadership and has co-authored numerous CA research reports.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates in 2010, Melanie was an Equity Research Analyst at Dowling & Partners Securities, a leading institutional stockbroker focused on the insurance industry. Prior to this, Melanie interned at M.R. Beal & Company, a boutique investment banking firm specializing in municipal finance.
Melanie received her BA in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross. She is a CFA® charterholder.
