Di Tang is a Senior Investment Director for the Sustainable and Impact Investing Group at Cambridge Associates.
Di joined the firm in 2020 and has nearly two decades of investment experience. She focuses on private investments within the sustainable and impact investing landscape and is responsible for building and maintaining the climate technology venture capital, private equity, and sustainable real assets landscapes.
Di is a member of the firm’s Sustainable and Impact Investing Council. She has authored and co-authored several publications for the firm, including Climate Tech’s Evolution: The Maturation to a Competitive, Returns-Focused Thematic Investment Sector and Would US Private Capital Flows into Climate Solutions Remain Strong in a Second Trump Administration?
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Di was an Investment Director at Sonen Capital, a dedicated impact investment management firm where she led investment research on global sustainable real assets, private equity, debt funds, and direct investment opportunities with socially responsible and environmental impact themes. Previously, Di was an Associate Director in the mezzanine debt and private equity groups at Barings where she completed due diligence, financial modeling, deal structuring, and portfolio management of private equity direct and fund investments. Before completing graduate school, Di began her career in commercial banking at Mission National Bank where she worked with minority-owned businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Di received her MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her BS from the University of California at Berkeley. She is also conversationally proficient in Mandarin.
