Wilson Chen, CFA

Managing Director

Wilson Chen is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates.

Based in the Singapore office, Wilson is responsible for performing due diligence on public growth managers and their appropriate products with a focus on Asia ex-Japan equity and Japan equity.

Before rejoining Cambridge Associates in 2011, Wilson was employed as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch, Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for the fund selection of Asian, Japanese, and global emerging market equities managers for the Merrill Lynch fund platform. Wilson was also the point of contact for the regional CIO office and responsible for communicating fund ideas to portfolio counselors and financial advisors.

Prior to Merrill Lynch, Wilson worked as an Associate Investment Director at Cambridge Associates where he was responsible for manager due diligence in the Asian and Japanese long-only equity, Asian fixed income, and real estate asset classes. Before joining Cambridge Associates, he served as a Research Associate at the Saw Centre for Financial Studies at the National University of Singapore. In his role, he was responsible for the research initiatives of the Centre where he authored several research publications.

Wilson received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (Honors) from National University of Singapore and his Diploma in Business Administration (Merit) from Singapore Polytechnic. He is a CFA® charterholder.
