Sheila Ryan
Partner, Pension Practice
Sheila Ryan is a Partner for the Pension Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Sheila joined the firm in 2007 and has more than 30 years of investment experience. She builds and manages private investment portfolios for pension and endowment clients, conducting due diligence on a variety of strategies across the global private investment asset class. She is also a voting member of the firm’s Private Investment, Private Credit, Co-Investment, and Secondaries Investment Rating Committees.
In 2018, Sheila was recognized as one of the industry’s top knowledge brokers by CIO Magazine. She is also a regular speaker on private investment topics at conferences across the industry.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Sheila worked at Strategic Investments for Intel Capital (the Venture Capital Investment Arm of Intel Corporation) where she invested in more than 50 venture capital and private equity transactions. Prior to that, she spent 12 years on the trading floor at Salomon Brothers advising institutional clients on their fixed income, asset-backed, and derivatives portfolios. Early in her career, Sheila was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Group at Bank of America.
Sheila received her BA with distinction in Economics from Stanford University.
