Mike Coppens is the Head of Business Risk Management and a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates.
Mike has 20 years of investment industry experience and has been with the firm since 2012. In his role, Mike is responsible for overseeing the firm’s operational due diligence of investment managers globally across asset classes.
Mike has authored research papers for the firm and spoken at various conferences throughout his career. He is also a mentor for the Cambridge Associates: Managing Private Investment Portfolios (CAMPP) program which works to build private investments knowledge among college students of diverse backgrounds. He is also a mentor for Ignite, Cambridge Associates’ mentorship program.
Outside of work, Mike is a youth sports coach and previously served on the Board of Directors for Duxbury Youth Soccer.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Mike worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he consulted for financial institutions on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives. Prior to this, he performed fundamental analysis of large and mid-cap equities for DG Capital Management.
Mike holds an MBA from Boston University School of Management and a BS in Finance from Boston College.
