Erin Schuhmacher

Erin Schuhmacher is a Managing Director for the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Erin works with endowment and foundation clients in the US. She manages customized portfolios both as an outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) and in a non-discretionary capacity designed to meet critical financial and client alignment objectives.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Erin spent seven years as a Senior Vice President in Manager Research at Financial Risk Management in New York. During her time there, she conducted manager research and selection for multi-strategy, event-driven, and equity long/short hedge funds. She also assisted with asset allocation and portfolio construction across the firm’s fund of fund products. Prior to business school, Erin worked at Bank of America Securities and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, covering retail stocks. She began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst on the mergers and acquisitions team at Raymond James & Associates.
Erin received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her BA, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Vanderbilt University.
