Deborah Christie is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates.
Deborah joined the firm in 2011 and has over 25 years of investment experience. She specializes in manager research covering US and Canadian equities, as well as women portfolio managers and gender lens investing.
In addition, Deborah is a frequent speaker at gender and impact conferences, and regularly writes thought leadership research papers for the firm. She is also a member of CA’s Public Investments Rating Committee and the Diverse Manager Council.
In addition to her work as an investor, Deborah is a member of many organizations including the CFA Society of Washington D.C. and the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero’s Paris Aligned Indexing working group. She is also an ambassador for Girls Who Invest, a non-profit organization focused on education, industry outreach, and career placement for young women.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Deborah co-founded Great Oak Investment Management. As Director of Research and Chief Compliance Officer, she oversaw the firm’s research efforts on small-cap equities and managed the firm’s compliance program. Before starting her own firm, she was a Research Consultant at Cambridge Associates and prior to that an Associate at Willamette Management Associates, where she valued closely held businesses.
Deborah received her MBA from Georgetown and her BA from the University of California at Davis. She is also a CFA® charterholder.
