Alexandra Dorf

Managing Director, Endowment & Foundation Practice

Alexandra (“Ali”) Dorf is a Managing Director for the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.

Ali joined the firm in 2003 and has more than 20 years of experience working with foundations, colleges and universities, endowed non-profits, and private clients in the US. She is a former member of the firm’s Private Growth Ratings Committee and is actively involved in Investment Director recruiting and training.

An enthusiastic hiker, backpacker, skier, and rower, Ali currently serves as an Advisory Board Member at Appalachian Mountain Club. She is an Investment Committee (IC) member, former Trustee, and Investment Committee Chair at Brookline Community Foundation. She also serves on the Investment Committee and is an advisory board member at Lasell University.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Ali worked at Highmount Capital, LLC, an independent multi-family office that is now part of Brown Advisory. She was also a member of the Client Strategies Group at Pell Rudman Trust Company (now CIBC Oppenheimer).

Ali received her MBA from Dartmouth College and her BA, cum laude, in Economics from Middlebury College. She is a Certified financial planner ™ professional.
