Senior Investment Director, Co-investments
Rob Long is a Senior Investment Director and a member of the Co-investment Team at Cambridge Associates.
Rob joined the Co-investment Team in 2017, where he is responsible for sourcing, due diligence, and execution of private equity, venture capital, and real asset co-investments on behalf of the firm’s clients. He focuses on co-investments on a global basis, working with fund managers, investment teams, and clients to source, assess, and transact on investment opportunities. Rob also works with the broader Private Investments team and has spent time in Asia and Latin America assessing local opportunities.
Rob began his career with Cambridge Associates in 2015, creating private investment mandates for retirement plans and other institutional clients ranging up to $200 billion in AUM. He is a frequent contributor to the firm’s thought leadership on co-investments, and is a joint author on Ready, Steady, Co-Invest, offering implementation advice to investors.
He received his BA from Vanderbilt University. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
