Richard Grimm
Managing Director, Pension Practice
Richard Grimm is a Managing Director for the Pension Practice at Cambridge Associates. With more than 25 years of investment experience, he constructs customized private credit portfolios to help his clients achieve their investment goals.
Richard has broad geographic investment experience, having completed investments in 14 countries and reviewed investments in more than 25 countries.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Richard was a Managing Director of Value Recovery Capital, where he focused on US and European special situations, distressed, and credit opportunities. He also served on the Investment Committee. Prior to this, he spent 13 years as an investor with Soros Fund Management and successor entities, including TowerBrook Capital Partners, and Camulos Capital, the former credit arm of SFM. Earlier in his career, Richard worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he focused on leveraged finance origination, as well as with Goldman Sachs’ Permanent Capital Strategies group.
Richard received his BA in Economics and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences from Northwestern University. He carries dual US/UK citizenship.
