Olga Braun-Cangl

Olga Braun-Cangl is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates.

Olga joined Cambridge Associates in 2022 and is based in Munich, Germany. She focuses on the building and management of private markets portfolios for institutional clients across Europe and Middle East.

Before joining Cambridge Associates, Olga spent 14 years with Allianz Global Investors in Munich and New York where she helped to develop private markets capabilities as well as managed and advised customised private markets portfolios for European institutional clients. She also served on their Investment Committee, led sourcing and underwriting activities for private credit (including co-investments and secondaries), private equity, and infrastructure; and advised executive management on strategic acquisitions targets and M&A opportunities. Olga began her career in 2002 as a Hedge Fund Analyst and Portfolio Manager at UniCredit and Berenberg Bank.

Outside of her work as an investor, Olga volunteers as a Board Member for “100 Women in Finance in Germany” and is an Advisor for the student initiative “Munich Student Investment Club e.V.”.

Olga received her Masters degree in Finance from the University of Munich, Germany. She is a certified Hedge Fund advisor (ebs) and EUREX trader.
