Margaret Chen is the Global Head of the Endowment & Foundation Practice at Cambridge Associates.
Margaret serves non-profit institutions around the world as they work to drive positive change in their communities. She has been an investor at Cambridge Associates for more than 25 years, managing and overseeing portfolios for dozens of sophisticated institutional investors. She has held numerous leadership roles at Cambridge Associates, including heading the firm’s OCIO business prior to her current role.
Margaret serves as the Board Chair of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and Chair of the Advisory Council for the Beach Museum of Art (Kansas State University), and is a member of the Yale Scholarship Trust. In both 2021 and 2022, Margaret was named one of Barron’s 100 Most Influential Women in US Finance, which recognizes women who are shaping the modern financial services industry and leading it into the future.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Margaret was a senior consultant with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, a general management consulting firm.
Margaret received her Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University and her BA from Yale University. She is conversational in Taiwanese.
