David Druley is the Chief Executive Officer at Cambridge Associates.
David joined the firm in 2003 and has over 30 years of investment experience. As CEO, he leads the firm in its mission to partner with endowments, foundations, pensions, private clients, and healthcare systems to exceed their investment objectives so they can have a greater impact on their communities. Working closely with the leadership team, he helps to set and execute the firm’s strategy and enhance its capabilities. He also travels between offices to empower employees to do their best work and deliver great results and strong partnerships to the firm’s clients.
David has held numerous leadership positions over his tenure. Most recently, he was President of Cambridge Associates. Before that, he was the founding global leader of the firm’s Pension Practice, where he created innovative portfolio management frameworks that transformed clients’ approach to investing. Before Cambridge Associates, David founded and operated Druley Investment Management.
Beyond his professional commitments, David works passionately to close the opportunity divide by supporting Year Up and the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. He also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council at the McCombs School of Business, where he was honored with the 2018 Rising Star Award and funds multiple scholarships.
He received his MBA and BBA from The University of Texas, Austin. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
