Alex Koriath is the EMEA Regional Head and a Partner at Cambridge Associates.
Alex has over two decades of industry experience and has been with the firm since 2014. As the EMEA Regional Head, he leads the EMEA Regional Operating Committee, which is responsible for implementing the firm’s strategy to deliver exceptional service to clients and drive business growth in the region. He is also a voting member of Cambridge Associates’ global Infrastructure Co-Investment Investment Committee and sits on the firm’s DEI Council.
Previously, Alex served as the Head of the European Pension Practice, where he managed the firm’s relationships with pension and insurance clients, driving growth in the region. He is committed to helping clients achieve their long-term objectives and leads client teams in advising and managing client portfolios in private markets and hedge funds, offering strategic insights on risk management and portfolio construction.
In addition to his work as an investor, Alex has a passion for educating in the area of investments and finance. He is a lecturer in Corporate Financial Management at HdBW Munich and has been a part-time teacher of Finance at the London School of Economics. He also sits on the CFA Society UK’s Exams and Education Committee.
Prior to joining CA, Alex was Head of Manager Research for KPMG’s investment advisory team. Before his time at KPMG, Alex worked with Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow and Allianz Insurance Group.
Alex received his MSc in Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics and his BA (Hons) from Portsmouth Business School. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
