Nigel Pepper
Managing Director, Business Risk Management
Nigel Pepper is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates.
Nigel joined the firm in 2015 and has over 30 years of industry experience, including 17 years focused on operational due diligence. He is based in our London office and responsible for overseeing the firm’s operational due diligence of investment managers in Europe and Asia, including assessing both public and private investment managers and fund structures.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Nigel was the Head of Operational Due Diligence for FQS Capital Partners, a boutique fund-of-hedge-fund manager, where he conducted operational due diligence reviews and monitored hedge-fund investments. He also participated in the Aima Sound Practice Committee Working Group, revising the fund-of-hedge-fund manager due diligence questionnaire (DDQ).
Prior to FQS, Nigel worked at Integrated Alternative Investments, initially as the Head of Operations, building operational infrastructure, processes, and controls. He later transitioned to an operational due diligence role, developing the due diligence process and reviewing hedge-fund investments.
Nigel holds the Investment Management Certificate.
