Sarah Edwards is a Senior Investment Director for the Sustainable and Impact Investing team at Cambridge Associates.
Sarah joined the firm in 2017 and has over 15 years of industry experience. In her role, she conducts manager research through the lens of climate change, social equity, and systemic impact. Sarah’s expertise spans multiple asset classes and impact themes, enabling her to provide clients with strategic insights and actionable recommendations for integrating impact and sustainability considerations into portfolios.
Sarah began her career advancing women’s political and economic empowerment in western Africa. She then spent four years with Conservation International in Washington D.C. leveraging climate change science to influence global policy. This work inspired her to pursue graduate studies at Duke University, where she specialized in the intersection of corporate strategy, environmental and social performance, and impact investing.
Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Sarah worked at Partners in Performance, a management consulting firm. There, she supported operational improvement initiatives for industrial clients around the world.
Sarah received her MBA and Masters of Environmental Management (MEM) from Duke University. She received her BA from Bates College.
