Matthew is the Chief Information Security Officer and a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates.
Matthew has more than 25 years of industry experience. He joined the firm in 1999 and has worked across the entire range of information technology at Cambridge Associates. In his current role, he is responsible for chartering and developing the information security function as a separately funded and managed entity from Information Technology.
Previously, he managed the software engineering and global infrastructure organizations at Cambridge Associates. Outside of Cambridge Associates, he is a member of the Community Informatics Lab at George Mason University, which studies the dynamics of local communities, technology-enabled groups, and information infrastructure using computational methods and socio-technical approaches.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked at management consulting firms working on systems for real estate disposition and business-to-business data exchange with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Qwest Communications (CenturyLink), and American Management Systems (now part of CGI).
Matthew received his MS in Computer Science and BS in Physics from James Madison University.
